Activations and breakthroughs are overrated

You don't need another "awakening". You need to LIVE more fully what has already awakened.

One of the most addictive feelings many spiritual seekers will experience is the high of a breakthrough.

When that ‘aha’ moment lands and shifts your perspective, and you become aware of a higher truth in a way that you’re totally receptive to…

Do you know that feeling?

If you’re reading these words, I think it's safe to say you’ve experienced something similar.

The rush of a breakthrough and the tingles of an activation are some of the sweetest things to experience. And they can be pretty cathartic too.

Almost like a spiritual sugar rush after many days of starvation. That’s what makes them addictive.

Many spiritual seekers walk around looking for their next high. And that will easily turn us into over-consumers of “spiritual content.”

The issue with it is that it is easy to walk around like a sack of un-integrated breakthroughs.

Would you agree?

I cannot count how many times I’ve felt precisely like that.

Here is something that may sound unpopular yet feels true to me.

Activations and breakthroughs are overrated. If the wisdom is not yet lived by every cell, it can quickly become a liability.

Un-integrated wisdom can cause you to live from a place of deeper inner fragmentation.

A place where a part of you deeply resonates with the newfound wisdom. Yet another part of you rejects it. On a somatic level it will feel like an inner fracture.

It may cause patterns of self-sabotage to amplify beyond what you got used to.

This can be one of the most painful places to live from. Would you agree?

You don’t need another awakening

I will repeat that again. Odds are, you don't need another awakening.

Odds are what you need are ways to live more fully what has already awakened within you.

Odds are, what you need is more integration.

By integration here, I do not mean the time for reflection and introspection people often take after a medicine journey. It is much more than that.

By integration I mean the sometimes arduous journey of becoming intimate with the parts of you that reject the higher wisdom. The saboteur, pleaser and all other survival archetypes that often hijack your light.

By integration I mean the descension into the shadow elements that the highest truth will stir within you.

By integration I mean the sacred journey of resolving the fragmentation that a higher truth will illuminate.

Because that is what truth, light, activations do. They illuminate the aspects of the psyche where we are still fragmented.

The unsexy yet most liberating work - INTEGRATE

There is a reason why the work of true integration is not popular.

It’s because it requires that you become intimate with your own incongruencies.

It requires that you look at your own fragmentation and unresolved issues in the face. It requires that you take response-ability to rewire them.

It demands that you not only come closer to your shadow but that you shift your relationship to it. It demands that you start looking at it as an ally, maybe even one of your most precious ones, instead of a hindrance.

Every time I facilitate INTEGRATE, which is my 4-month immersion where we dissolve the hidden forces that prevent you from living an unleashed life, this is the pattern I notice.

People approach it with apprehension. I think on some level, every one sense when there is a divine undoing that needs to happen within them so that they can reclaim more of their power.

After the apprehension, comes surrender to the descension, and then a transfiguration that often goes beyond what we thought was possible.

It is something I have seen over and over again. That is what causes me to say that you are only as liberated as you are integrated.
