Dealing with the vulnerable exposure that comes with expressing your true nature
Where devotion to your truth is really forged
There’s a sacred space between expression and recognition. A quiet in-between.
It’s the moment after you’ve shared something tender and real. That may be your art, your truth, your voice. It’s the silence before the world reflects anything back.
That’s the liminal ground where most people collapse, especially when they are not practiced at leading from their core.
Because the nervous system searches for echoes. For approval. For signs that it’s safe to keep going. And when those signs don’t come, the mind scrambles to make meaning.
Are some of these thoughts familiar? Maybe I said too much. Maybe no one cares. Maybe I’m not cut out for this. Maybe there is retaliation coming…
If this is you, then I see you. That space can feel soul crushing. It is so challenging that sometimes we assume there is something wrong with it.
But what if silence isn’t a sign that you’re off-track? What if it’s part of the path?
We romanticize visibility, being met for who we truly are.
But being seen is not often where we start. It’s usually what comes after you’ve passed through the fire of not feeling seen, and chose not to abandon yourself anyway.
The initiation always starts in the silence, at least in my experience.
Not because your truth isn’t powerful or your authenticity valueless. But because your soul needs to know you’ll stay loyal to it, even when the world doesn’t clap.
That liminal space is not punishment. It’s a purification process.
It’s where your devotion gets freed from the need for praise. It’s where your nervous system learns that your truth is not conditional. It’s where you become someone whose voice can’t be silenced, because you’re no longer looking for permission.
Most people say they want to be seen. But what they really want is to be applauded, affirmed, validated. And don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with that. That comes with being human.
But if that desire becomes your reason for expressing, you’ll stay imprisoned by the response. You’ll say what feels acceptable. You’ll share what feels safe. You’ll clip your own wings so the world doesn’t flinch.
And your soul will feel the cost of that.
This is why SEEN exists.
It’s not just about expression. It’s about building the emotional and somatic capacity to express your truth even when it’s not met right away.
To stand in the liminal space and remain faithful to your voice. To learn how to witness yourself so fully, so deeply, that praise becomes extra, not oxygen.
If you’ve felt the ache of being unseen… If you’ve silenced your truth one too many times… If you’re ready to be devoted to your expression, not just rewarded for it…
Then SEEN is for you. The doors are open. And your voice is welcome here..

"It’s the silence before the world reflects anything back."
I love this silence! That is the approval. For me, its the ultimate approval. The most perfect sign that I have touched them to the core. Nothing to do. Just feel. The invisible connection which is present - always.
If I share my truth they may abandon me. But if I don’t, I abandon myself.
