“When you pray for rebirth, do not be surprised if what you receive is an inner forest fire.”
I am usually reluctant to engage in giving energy updates. I often think they can be biased because of the filters of the transmitter. In this case, that would be me.
So I am inviting you to receive everything I’ll share with a grain of salt. Honor your resonance above all else. Also, remember that your consciousness carries power. You have the capacity to create a unique experience that transcends what we navigate collectively.
If you’ve been following my work, you know shadow integration plays a big role in it. This involves collective shadow, which is a big aspect of what I will share here.
I will also share with you 8 distinctions that I believe will help you ride this cosmic wave with more grace. So please make sure you read till the end.
With that being said, let’s dive in…
A cosmic sh*t show or cosmic fireworks?
There is a lot going on astrologically and cosmically, that is important to just acknowledge. You know… like an *observer*.
We are going through a Mercury retrograde… there is a solar eclipse coming April 8th, there is the onset of spring happening in the Northern hemisphere… and that just feels like the tip of the iceberg.
Don’t worry, I am not going to go into an astrological regurgitation of things you probably know better than me. Instead, I will share with you intuitive impressions that I believe are coming up so that you may work with them more skillfully. These impressions also come from my observation and work with collective shadow material.
On one end, during times like these ones, it is not unusual to witness a collective hysteria. It may look like a form of collective madness. That can have many reflections in your inner landscape. You may even find yourself engaging some expectations of doom and gloom. And that is a tendency that is important to observe without feeding it too much of your energy and focus.
That being said in my opinion even the darkest cosmic experiences carry a highest purpose. A golden shadow if you prefer. That is why I used the term cosmic fireworks. This is more of what I’d like to explore with you.
Beauty in the dark
As much as what is happening astrologically right now can fill us with apprehension and anxiety, it is necessary to marvel at the rare beauty of what is unfolding.
Think about being shown a black diamond for the first time in your life. This is what this energy feels like. There is alchemical power in appreciating the beauty of such a phenomenon.
This eclipse season is a cosmic wild card.
A necessary disruption
There is usually a wind of momentum that happens around the arrival of spring. You may notice that this expectation gets stunted this spring.
The wind is not blowing like usual.
You may notice that the inner urge to set things in motion during this time of the year could be quite dimmed. This alone may bring to the surface collective shadows that it is necessary to be aware of. These collective shadows are for the most part in the frequency of powerlessness.
They include: discouragement, disillusionment, despair, disappointment and even desperation. It’s almost as if you want to start an engine that you desperately need but it doesn’t cooperate.
If you relate to all of this without enough perspective, you might feel that you are completely at the mercy of collective energy or that you are drowning in it.
Yet it is a necessary disruption.
A spring like no other: the dark benevolence of the universe
This spring has a unique vibration to it. One of the best ways I can convey it is the dark benevolence of the universe. This is not something that is meant to scare you. So please bear with me.
The best way to convey this feeling is through an analogy. Let me put it this way…
“When you pray for rebirth, do not be surprised if what you receive is a forest fire.”
Please remember that these words are not meant to be taken literally, even though I wouldn’t be surprised if on a collective level we experience some environmental disruptions.
What do I mean by this analogy?
In agriculture, it is not uncommon that fires are used to support the land in getting ready for the next season of growth. These fires have the purpose to burn what is decaying. They might help the renewal of a forest and even support the growth of some specific species of trees.
It is also important to notice that these controlled fires are usually used by farmers right after a wet or cool season so that they don’t run the risk of having the fires get out of control during a very hot season.
How interesting that what is going on right now is around spring…
These forest fires accelerate the process of clearing and transformation of debris.
At first it may seem destructive. Yet there is dark benevolence to the process. Benevolent destruction.
Add this to the fact that this eclipse is in the sign of Aries (fire sign), it therefore feels like an inner forest fire.
This eclipse gives the impression of dark flames that have the higher purpose to clear shadow material. Their purpose is to clear what is ‘eclipsing’ the capacity of the land to give birth to new crops.
Embrace your inner eclipse
This eclipse is also an inner eclipse. It plays the purpose of inner revelation and radical transformation.
There are two purposes there.
This eclipse wants to reveal what has been eclipsing your inner sun. It’s as if your eyes are getting attuned to seeing in the dark. It goes beyond just clearing unfinished business. It may reveal generational or even karmic unfinished business that you get to address.
This eclipse wants to support radical transformation, not just the start of another cycle. It’s no longer what goes around comes back around kind of energy. It is no longer history repeats itself kind of energy. It is a phase shift. Your energy wants to shift octaves for good. You may find solutions to systemic inner disturbances. When issues emerge during this season, think in these terms… What does it look like to resolve this for generations to come?
It is not just about clearing. It's not just about moving dust from point A to point B, which is usually what we call cleaning. On an internal level, this eclipse is urging a return to light, to the very fabric of life.
8 distinctions that will help you ride this cosmic wave with more grace
Here are 8 attributes that when embodied gracefully, will help you go through this season with more grace.
1- Everything that looks dark is not negative.
Everything that looks dark is not necessarily scary. There is an invitation to engage with the things that will come up this eclipse season for you, so that you may clear them.
Our natural impulse is often to run from situations that challenge us or to postpone addressing them. It may range from emotional conflicts, past traumas, to relational frictions or all forms of unfinished business.
This time, consider addressing it proactively. Remember, a forest fire left unattended to, can turn into a natural disaster. The universe started the fire, your role is to work with it skillfully. That will allow you to reclaim the golden shadow of these times.
What are things and situations that have been decaying in your life for a long time? What would it look like to metaphorically put throw them in the fire?
2- The second one is. In a world that is highly deceptive, highly deceptive, transparency is a new currency
Revelation is benevolence at its finest. And revelation is about seeing what you weren't able to see before. These eclipse is an oxymoron in and of itself. It reveals. It will support your capacity to see in the dark. It will reveal what is eclipsing your own inner sun. Allow yourself to be an observer and to witness. Then give yourself permission to integrate in the best of your ability.
3- Don't be afraid of being afraid.
This is a challenging one to ask yet it is a practice that these times are asking of us to embrace. With revelation, there is often disillusionment. We often see things that we didn't want to see, things that were there that we couldn't see.
The current energies want to awaken even more your inner warriorship.
4- Engage with the fire
The universe started the fire, your job is to engage with it and use it skillfully.
What does that mean? If there's something that gets revealed within you, ancient pain or unfinished business, What does it look like to meet it with an open heart?
It may be tempting to withdraw from the challenges that may emerge during these times. What would it look like to embrace them fully?
5- Not a regular spring cleaning… A spring burning - karmic completion
These times do not seem to invite the regular energy of a spring cleaning where take the things you no longer need, put them in the attic or the garbage, or even give them away. It demands more than that. It feels more like a spring burning. This energy is asking you to step out of the same old cycle that has become stale. It’s a door open to a totally new paradigm where room is being made for a new type of seeds.
With this, there is an opportunity to address situation that had been disrupting your life for good. Think about it as you address some of the issues you are facing.
Ask yourself the question: how can I address it for good? These times want to support completing cycles that may even be karmic.
These times silently whisper: bring it to the fire.
6- Extract the essence
Most material life is Carbon based. That’s what fire does. It brings life back to its core essence. That raw atomic material can now serve a new purpose.
The invitation here is to think about the essence of the situations you are dealing with. What are they inviting you to return to? What is the primal wisdom? What is the primal light? During these times reach for that.
Ask yourself what matters most? Ask yourself what is the very fabric of the situation at hand? Allow yourself to relate to things from that perspective and all the illusions will lose their grip on you.
7- Honor the pace of the fire
It is tempting to want to accelerate the burning process. It is really important, in my opinion, to not create artificial fires or to not add unnecessary fuel.
Let it be a natural process that you cooperate with. There is an inherent rhythm to this journey. Honor it.
8- Compassion is the antidote and the catalyst
There are many things you may witness during this season. You may see people losing their grip. You might even feel like that at times.
Compassion is the energy that allows you to relate to the whole experience with more grace. Compassion for yourself and for others, especially the ones you may love to despise and judge.
I could expand on all of these for many more hours. But this is a summary of what I believe is important to keep in mind during these times.
PS- These are only perspectives. As the cocreator you are, the way you use your conscious awareness is the most predominant force that determines how you experience these times. Please remember that.

Just wow! I live in a rural area where burning ditches this time of year is customary to let the water flow for irrigation. This is such a great metaphor for my life right now. I have things I need to let burn to create flow. Those things include letting go of the guilt for leaving a toxic marriage. Not being afraid to share my truth with others and many more. As always ways, you resonate strong with this one.
