Most people have a complicated relationship with their light at best.
The same way you have an attachment style when it comes to relational dynamics with other people, I am challenging you to think that you also have a specific attachment style to your light.
The issue is that most people have a very far from secure attachment with their brightness.
So many of us have an attachment style to our light that was shaped by past experiences—just like in relationships.
And when this attachment is unhealthy, it shows up as self-sabotage, imposter syndrome, and hesitation to claim our power.
Illuminating your attachment style with your light
Here is a quick overview of what applying attachment theory to your relationship to your brightness would look like…
Anxious attachment: makes you overwork and over-prove, constantly seeking validation before trusting your brilliance.
Avoidant attachment: keeps you from fully embracing your gifts, convincing you that staying small is “safer.”
Disorganized attachment creates a push-pull dynamic—you crave success and unleashing your expression, yet fear what comes with it.
Secure attachment: this is where you trust your voice, own your gifts, and let yourself be fully seen—without fear, guilt, or hesitation.
There’s more that goes into all of this, and of course the intention here is not to paste another label on you, but barely to understand your relationship to your brightness better. I could speak about it for hours.
The question is where do you currently stand based on that description?
For the longest time, my relationship with my brightness has been avoidant.
My work has been to create more inner safety around its expression.
What I experience most of the time now is not just excitement, but a freedom that sometimes feels foreign yet as if I'm home when I create.
It’s from that place that I share my current work.
I want to take you on a similar journey.
Being unleashed is about healing our attachment to our brightness, so that it may become more secure.
It often requires addressing the shadow material that convinces us that our light is unsafe.
It is somatic and psychospiritual.
That’s the work we do in my private community the Embodied Light Project.
The reality is that the world needs you in your brilliance.
Not a disembodied one.
One that emanates after having done the necessary work of integration.
One where you have reclaimed your power from the constraints of your conditioning.
One where your inner saboteur no longer calls the shots.
That’s the type of journey I’m inviting you to join.
The winter enrollment for The Embodied Light Project (ELP) is now open and closes this Sunday Feb 16th.
If you've recently participated to my Unleashed challenge and enjoyed it, we deepen that work in the community.
As an early enrollment token, I’m offering you exclusive discount codes to join ELP.
Use code UNLEASH12 at checkout to save 12% off the monthly membership and use code UNLEASH25 at checkout to save 25% off the yearly membership.
These codes expire this Friday Feb 14th.
As I’ve said before, I believe this can be one of the best investments you’ll make this year.
Find out more about ELP through this HERE.
