You came here to be a divine Trojan Horse
Not to escape the matrix
Lately I’ve been seeing many dear friends who carry profound medicine not so slightly withdraw from their work.
I was talking with one that I will call J for the sake of privacy.
J shared with me how he felt disheartened when he looked at the state of the world at times. And that he’s been struggling with the question: “what’s the point?”
“If there is still so much suffering and that sharing your work just feels like a race to see who is the loudest, then what’s the point?”
He told me that over the last few months he started resenting his own work. And that he just wanted to withdraw for a second. That it almost felt like a new matrix he wanted to escape.
And then he asked me how I keep going. We’ve known each other for nearly 8 years now.
If this speaks to you in any way, let me start by saying this…
I understand the impulse. The world is as dark as it gets, and escaping the matrix has become the dream of so many. But the more I grow, the more I’m convinced that inside that dream is also a refusal to embrace the role we actually came here to play.
I understand that pursuing work that is meaningful to your soul is the most character building thing you will ever do. I also understand that it is necessary to take breaks when needed.
With that said… I don’t think you came here to escape the matrix. Honestly, the more I hear that phrase, the more tired of it I become.
I think you came here to be a divine trojan horse.
This is what I told J. I see myself as a divine trojan horse.
This goes specifically to you if there is great work within you that you are not yet allowing yourself to fully express.
Before I go deeper into the divine trojan horse thing, I want to share this with you…
The doors of the 5th cohort of my 6-week immersion SEEN are opening soon. If you’ve been struggling to be the voice your mission deserves, this is for you.

What is a divine trojan horse?
I know the internet is crowded with algorithms that prioritize noise over essence. I know how easily that can hypnotize a person into deeper sleep. Think of it as white noise.
And for some of us, escaping the matrix can look like withholding our own voice and refusing to participate… like saying: “I don’t want to be associated with all that noise.”
I get it. I lived it for a long time. I told myself that this was me upholding my standards.
But I’ll be honest about what I eventually found underneath my own version of it: there was a whole lot of pride and fear hiding beneath these “standards.”
Withdrawing, whereas deep down your heart is asking you to show up, is a performance.
Hiding, when deep down your soul is asking you to show up, is a performance.
For me it was the performance of wanting to be above it all. Wanting to be above the matrix. Wanting to be above the noise.
The point I am making is that building an identity out of refusing to play the game your soul signed up for, is also a form of self abandonment.
So let me ask it plainly. What if your voice was the divine trojan horse? You know, the thing that slips through the gates of all that noise and reaches the one person who needed exactly your frequency to remember their own divine spark?
I believe that you came here to be a divine trojan horse. That’s how I see my work. It has become a source of fuel that I didn’t expect.
The reality is that your silence is not neutral. While you protect yourself from being associated with the noise, someone out there is still waiting for the precise thing only you carry.
A voice that never enters the “noise” cannot reach the person drowning in it. Beyond everything, it may fuel what I often call soul-betrayal.
To be in the matrix, but not of it. That is the assignment.
If any of this lands in you, then maybe it’s time to stop rejecting the very voice you were sent here with, and reclaim who you came here to be.
The path of the divine trojan horse
That path will ask something of you. It will ask you to unlearn every strategy you ever absorbed for keeping your voice small. And it will ask you to outgrow the oldest fear of all…. that your voice, your light, your work might not actually make the difference you long for it to make.
That is the work we will do together in my upcoming immersion, SEEN.
This is where you become the voice your mission deserves.
The doors open soon.
