You’re not stuck. You’re split.
The counterintuitive way to reclaim flow and momentum in your life.
One of the most polarizing beliefs I hold is that no one is ever truly stuck… And I know it to be quite polarizing especially when someone truly 'feels' stuck.
I've never been okay with the phrase "I am stuck". It's something I don't remember saying out loud often, if not at all. There are many reasons behind that.
The first one is because I think it's a self fulfilling prophecy. Something we speak into existence and we believe to be true. We even start looking for evidence to support it.
The second reason might be (I will admit it) a bit ego-based. Saying "I'm stuck" just feels like a form of capitulation. It just lands in my body like disowning my creative power. And don't get me wrong, I've "felt stuck" many times.
The last reason why I haven’t been a big fan of that phrase is because I believe it denies the reality of the soul you are, who cannot be stuck.
If you are not stuck, then what the hell is going on when you "feel stuck"? How to dissolve the illusion of stuckness?
I think at the core, feeling stuck is a symptom of a fragmented psyche.
But what does that even mean?
It means that the stagnation you experience is more the outcome of inner opposition, than it is the result of outer conditions.
It often means that on some level there is a conscious desire you have and on a more unconscious level, there is an aspect of you that opposes that yearning. An aspect of you that finds something threatening about the journey of reaching for your conscious desire.
That's why I say that odds are you're not stuck. Odds are you're split.
Life is always in motion even when you feel stagnant. But I think you already knew that.
In my experience, stuckness is the result of two or more parts of ourselves pulling in opposite directions.
On the surface it may look like any form of self sabotage.
And what can make it even more difficult is that the parts of us pulling in a different direction often hide in the shadow.
Here is an example.
You desire deep intimacy. But on a more unconscious level a part of you equates it to a loss of autonomy or freedom. That shadow perspective is most likely reinforced by past experiences. No matter how hard you push to find someone to build a secure relationship with, that part of you may find that possibility like a prison and plan your escape.
That's just how our stagnation can originate.
Uncovering the shadow benefits and the hidden Intuitive whispers beneath your stuckness.
There are inevitable shadow benefits that are associated with feeling stuck. In the example above, there's a shadow form of safety that may come from not feeling trapped in a relationship.
That form of safety is only the shadow benefit.
At the core there might be the deep longing to be in a relationship where you still feel free to be yourself.
That is truly what the part stuck in the shadow is trying to say.
Whatever your own version of stuckness is, until you become aware of the shadow benefits, and the core desires beneath them, it might be hard to transcend the stagnation.
What I've found through my personal experience and years of facilitation is that only a 100% of the time, there is way more wisdom beneath our fragmentation and stuckness.
And when we are willing to do the necessary work of integration to resolve it, we finally reclaim soul led momentum.
Not short sprints of movement forward that are often short-lived.... but consistent and congruent expansion.
This is why I created INTEGRATE. Which is a 4-month journey to truly get you unstuck.
The core gnosis at the core of INTEGRATE is this: every aspect of your psyche, even the ones that seem the most dysfunctional, is trying to serve you. This include the parts of you that pull you in the opposite direction of what you want, therefore creating stuckness.
And when you tune into the hidden purpose of every state, even your stuckness, and reconcile with it, you experience what I think of as integrated freedom.
A freedom that comes from embracing more of who you are, not running from it. A freedom that grants you back the permission to embrace imperfect living in all its beauty and to put yourself out in the world in ways that your soul truly craves.
That is the essence of INTEGRATE.
Getting unstuck is more about an inner reconciliation than it is a hustle.
INTEGRATE is where we stop trying to force our way forward from a fragmented state, and instead gather the lost pieces of ourselves so we can move forward with clarity and wholeness.
