I have a profound allergy to surface level conversations.
I’ve never been known to be the small talk guy. And I am aware that it can be challenging to people who do not have a great capacity for depth.
Well the conversation in this week’s episode of ENHEARTENED is so far from being small talk.
This episode is also an ode to the feminine. With that said, the principles shared here are also universal.
I sat down with my friend Alexis Sabatino for one of the most unapologetic conversations we’ve had yet.
Alexis is the creator of The Sister Shadow, a body of work that helps women heal the sister wound and reclaim the parts of themselves they were taught to exile—the anger, the grief, the darkness, and, ultimately, their raw, unfiltered feminine power.
We talk about some shadows that most women uniquely need to face to reclaim their liberation during these times… Especially the ones that plague their relationship with the masculine within and without, and their relationship to other women.
It was hard to find a title that could pay justice to this episode fully because of how much depth was covered.
What You’ll Gain From This Episode:
How to heal your relationship with anger
The truth about the "good girl" archetype and how it holds you back
Steps to reconnect with your primal, instinctual power
How to integrate your inner dark masculine and dark feminine for sovereignty
Ending the gender war through radical reclamation
Tools for sisterhood healing and feminine leadership
The key role of forgiveness in reclaiming freedom and ending karmic cycles without bypassing
It is raw, real and hopefully it helps you open your heart even more.

This sounds so beautiful as a conversation. I look forward to finding time to listen. In my own life and work I marvel time and again at how incredibly powerful the women’s circle can be in healing these age old wounds of separation, jealousy, competition, mistrust… we are raised from the word go to be pitted against one another… divide and conquer… scarcity in so many forms… and feeling the grief of that alone can sometimes feel like it might swallow us whole. Also, anger: here for it, for my grandmothers, my granddaughters, every woman everywhere
I’m listening in small bites. Yet, I’m awakening and have focused on personal deep anger. Blaming others was the choice I kept making. I know about the collective influence. Though this anger has escalated and your conversation has created space for me to realize it’s bigger than me. It’s generational. I’m an investigator on ancestry and discovered a family line to the 1500’s. I know their names.
It connected me to historical pain. You help me own a deeper connection to centuries of feminine suppression. I’m still taking little bites. Today I feel lighter. An amazing interaction thru this shared conversation. Thank you.
