This sounds so beautiful as a conversation. I look forward to finding time to listen. In my own life and work I marvel time and again at how incredibly powerful the women’s circle can be in healing these age old wounds of separation, jealousy, competition, mistrust… we are raised from the word go to be pitted against one another… divide and conquer… scarcity in so many forms… and feeling the grief of that alone can sometimes feel like it might swallow us whole. Also, anger: here for it, for my grandmothers, my granddaughters, every woman everywhere
I’m listening in small bites. Yet, I’m awakening and have focused on personal deep anger. Blaming others was the choice I kept making. I know about the collective influence. Though this anger has escalated and your conversation has created space for me to realize it’s bigger than me. It’s generational. I’m an investigator on ancestry and discovered a family line to the 1500’s. I know their names.
It connected me to historical pain. You help me own a deeper connection to centuries of feminine suppression. I’m still taking little bites. Today I feel lighter. An amazing interaction thru this shared conversation. Thank you.
I can't wait to listen and I'm sharing with my circle immediately. We're not a gender in spirit, but I sense that we choose one to experience and then learn the truth about blending these two aspects of our energy - the feminine and masculine. It is so powerful to balance both and to harness one for the right purpose and intention. I know that I am constantly dancing between the balance, mostly not getting the dance steps right all the time - but continuing on anyway. Thank you for bringing this conversation forward.
I was deeply moved by this conversation that enriched my day. What struck me most was the testament to personal fulfillment, the invitation to witness the ability of Alexis' soul to stay connected with her inner strengths. The laughter was pure, yet subtly contained.
Xavier's heart and skill in extracting, from this bubbling space, the precise words to bring forth the voice, to allow memory to extend into the present - whether Alexis', Xavier's, or that of all viewers - was truly remarkable.
It was a magical experience.
A big thank you to you both. I sincerely believe that such testimony will help many women (& men) and elevate humanhood.
