How your body reveals the truth you are not ready to see
Your body is the original truth teller
This is going to be a short one, but I think very potent.
The body is a truth teller. I think quite literally. I think it reveals first the truth we aren’t willing to acknowledge yet.
You’ve probably heard many times: “the body keeps the score.”
It keeps the score of the emotional injuries we have yet to resolve. I also think it does way more than that.
It will express the truth you unconsciously reject.
I will even go as far as saying that your body knows your intuition before you can even acknowledge it.
It holds the path back to healing, integration and of course truth.
I recently had a conversation on the Enheartened podcast where we went deeper into this and so much more.
And I think you will greatly benefit from it.
This week on ENHEARTENED.
This week on the Enheartened podcast, I sit down with Lara J. Day, Qigong practitioner, intuitive guide, and creator of the 13 Sacred Nights Oracle, for a conversation about how the body reveals the truth we’re often not ready to face, and why healing requires staying with what we usually avoid.
In this episode, you’ll explore:
How the body holds and communicates truths the mind resists
Why avoiding darkness comes with a real somatic and nervous system cost
The difference between insight and embodied truth
How Qigong supports listening rather than forcing change
Why healing begins when we stop turning away from discomfort
Episode 24 of ENHEARTENED with Lara J. Day is live!

Oh God, I don't even want to write this but I'm hungry for change. And I tend to push myself. As soon as I read that short piece about the body, I knew I needed to look at it, really focus on my tummy for example and- I feel like shouting now - let it speak. I obviously haven't been doing that. I know a lot went on there from an age too little to even contemplate or bare.
After years and years of therapies, mostly feeling type thankfully, I'm getting better, but going further and further back is ... well, difficult 😞
But do we even need to do this? Keep delving into the past and feeling the old wounds to release them? It works but...
There are those who say don't focus on that. Just choose what you want. You are already healed. And those who say they can work with your subconscious/higher self to release all your trauma in a short space of time, without you having to do all that inner child work.
Any thoughts? If you don't mind taking the time to share 🙏🏼 PS New to your channel so haven't read your other posts.
